Mobile and pervasive computing at the University of Florida means exciting research, cutting-edge technology, and solid educational training. Professor Helal is directing several research projects in the areas of Mobile and Pervasive Computing, solving basic research problems and innovating high-impact, real-world applications.
In a recent project, Dr. Helal, his students and his colleagues from the school of Health Profession are creating the technology, framework and systems that will realize the concept of Assistive Environments benefiting the growing elderly and disabled population around the
world.
